She Wants Revenge kick off Fair Trade Series in LAShe Wants Revenge will help kick off the Fair Trade Series of events in Los Angeles on May 17.
Several bands and DJs including Monsters Are Waiting and MC Gray Kid will perform to help out the charity Water, which provides clean water to people in Africa.
The inaugural Fair Trade event will be held at the Hollywood Vanguard in Los Angeles.
Additional events are being planned in several other US cities throughout the year including San Francisco on July 14, Chicago on September 22, New York on October 31, and Miami on December 8.
Also scheduled for the events are art and video installations as well as dancing.
Tickets for the Los Angeles event will cost $20 at the door, and proceeds will go toward the charity Water. Foxy Brown pleads not guilty in assault case
Foxy Brown pleaded not guilty today (October 16) to assault charges stemming from an incident in which the rapper allegedly threw her mobile phone at a neighbour.
Brown, 28, appeared today in Brooklyn State Supreme Court to enter the plea, reports the Associated Press.
The rapper was arrested in Brooklyn in August after she allegedly used her mobile phone to strike her neighbour, Arlene Raymond, for complaining about the volume of her car stereo.
Brown has been in Rikers Island prison in New York for violating probation by skipping anger management classes and leaving the city without permission in an unrelated case.
